Over 150 people joined PPC Faculty, Candidates, Board and Staff for delicious hors d'oeuvres and elegant deserts followed by an exciting evening of theater--the award-winning off Broadway hit, Freud's Last Session on Saturday, March 3, 2012.
It was a pleasure to be able to hold our benefit at the beautiful
Pittsburgh Public Theater at the O'Reilly Theater.
In addition to the excellent theatrical performance, attendees were treated
to a Talk Back following the play that was a discussion with the actors and director and featured speakers Rabbi James Gibson of Temple Sinai in Squirrel Hill, and Thomas Janoski, PhD. a
psychoanalyst and psychologist in private practice. Gary Swanson, MD, psychiatrist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry showed off his skills as a talented moderator. Look out Late Show
hosts!
Freud's Last Session was an opportunity to hear two great minds clash on the existence of God, love, sex and the meaning of life while raising important funds that make it possible for PPC to meet the mission of providing excellence in training of psychoanalysis and psychodynamic psychotherapies, and serving as a resource to the community of Pittsburgh.
