Find A Therapist

The Pittsburgh Psychoanalytic Center makes referrals to therapists affiliated with our organization. You can request to enter into psychoanalysis, or be seen for "regular" therapy. Most of our referral resources are located in the east end of Pittsburgh. You may specify whether you would like to see a male or female and discuss particular areas of expertise.

When calling to set up your first appointment, your therapist may ask various questions to get a better understanding of your issue and explain their process.  This time also gives you an opportunitiy to ask questions about the therapy process.

"Outside Provider" may be refered to as "non-paticipatory provider" by certain insurance companies.
