Become a Friend of Psychoanalysis!
Welcome to PPC's Membership Page!
Pittsburgh Psychoanalytic Center invites you to be part of our community. By becomming a member you are helping to support programs in the arts, education, and child-development. You are ensuring that a resource exists in Pittsburgh for training in the theory and practice of psychoanalysis.
For over 50 years health professionals and institutions of higher learning have affirmed the value of psychoanalysis by participating in our programs and seeking to further their understanding and deepen their practice with patients. We have provided training to counselors, caretakers, physicians, nurses and clergy. A diverse range of professionals has sought to increase their competence through participation in our programs.
When dealing with lifelong hurts, behavior patterns, or family issues, some people have found that the pace of treatment in other settings sometimes does not allow for the issues that they are facing to be adequately explored and addressed.
Your annual membership will help provide treatment that:
- adresses self identity
- seeks to create better relationship skills
- ease anxiety and depression
- change destructive behaviors
- allow the individual to live a more satisfying and authentic life
The membership levels are designed to allow individuals on any budget to participate. They are good for the academic year.
Your donation is tax-deductible and practically pays for itself with discounts, free events and access to our library.
